Personally, I have lived with a chronic illness for more than twenty years, a journey that has deeply shaped how I understand self-care, resilience, medical trauma, and what it means to show up for oneself, even in the presence of ongoing pain and discomfort.
I understand how the complex relationship between physical and emotional pain can shape our inner worlds and influence how we move through our lives, sometimes leaving us feeling stuck in patterns that no longer reflect our values or our visions for the future.
I love supporting people who are navigating similar terrain, whether that includes chronic illness or chronic pain, substance use and harm reduction, a complicated relationship to food and body, or experiences of anxiety, loneliness, depression, and a broader sense of dis-ease.
It is my great joy and privilege to offer a space for connection, reflection, compassion, and sustainable transformation in our work together.
I have been working as a therapist since 2018. In that time have worked in many different community mental health settings including:
I have also been working in private practice since 2020, supporting a wide range of individuals, families and couples.
